Though I am one of those not affected by travel delays right now, I'd experienced this frustration in the past: Not having hotel room on scheduled time, lost vacation days due to storms, getting sick because of the food being served, etc. I could name these as "Travel Frustrations". It is totally our of our control. But we try anyways. Sometimes we said something we were not supposed to because of our frustrations. This meditation is very helpful even in our daily lives: at home, work, school. We expect too much and when our expectations are not met, we feel frustrated and betrayed. It does not help to feel stressed and furious. Just remember that everything happens for a reason.
For me this meditation suits me whenever I'm in a stressful situation. This really helps me to release tension that I really feel right now. Erin was a good reader here. And the topic was also related to everyday life. I'm going to listen to this again later.
"I have done everything in my control, I let go of everything outside of my control." Wonderful affirmations especially when you are stressed out during travel delays usually at the airport, or bus station. We have to forego disappointments and release negative emotions brought by scenarios like this. This guide will help bring back the awareness and focus on things which matters most, like safety or relationships. I like the way Erin reads the guide, very clear. I would do this meditation again, it's like hustling while waiting on travel.
As a person who tend to live "busy and fast life" i usually find myself in chaotic situations and flight delayes is one of them, and we are all aware with the fact how stressful it can be. Stress won't help you get abroad this situation, it will only make you feel more nervous, so that's why people always seek for solutions. I found mine! Listening Erin's calm voice helps me get a "reality escape" and feel more comfortable even when i am waiting. I highly recommend it!
My sister is traveling this weekend. I have told her about this meditation. Will help her chill out.
