Episode 41 – Office – Creativity

Episode 41 - Office – CreativityFocusing your mind through meditation helps your brain free itself of unnecessary baggage and provides space for clarity. You can access the creative part of your brain much more easily if the part that forces you to engage in the stories of the mind can be kept quiet. Use this meditation to calm the noise and encourage creativity. Best when used during an office break.

Creativity is just connecting things. When you ask creative people how they did something, they feel a little guilty because they didn't really do it, they just made it in their minds. Creativity comes as a result of open mind full of clarity. Allow yourself that. Be creative!

I liked the meditation but not the title because it seemed to be different from what the meditation actually contained. The meditation overall was pretty good, I liked the reader and felt she was peaceful and perfect for this video. I liked the part about breathing, the light in us, where the creativity is inside us, and the visualization and imagination aspects of the video. I feel like the speaker took her time with the video, and didn't feel the need to pressure us to follow her directions, but to interpret them as desired. I liked how there was a rainbow with different colors and details based on our interpretation, pace, direction, and preferences.
